Fuji HS10 Availability
I get all of my equipment from B&H Photo and Amazon. If you’re looking to purchase the HS10, then I highly recommend both stores. They have the lowest prices, wonderful customer service and fantastic return policies.

Happily, I found your site. I am planning on purchasing the Fujifilm Finepix HS10 (currently own a Panasonic DMC FZ18) and a myriad of film cameras (too darn many). This is my first digital camera and I entered the digital world kicking and screaming ( exactly what I did wit B&W to color, Chromatic to Print fil, large format to 35mm and 35mm to APS). Well, at least I’m predictable. I hope that this site emulates Digital and/or HS10 for Dummies. I have already noticed that there has been a firmware update for the HS10. But I am very excited with the anticipation of getting this camera. I’m tired of SLR’s and the subsequent bulk of extra lenses, etc.

Norman,
Boy, I remember the film days. I was just like you, with every new development in photography I went into it kicking and screaming…. sometimes crying. This is the capitol for digital dummies, headed by me President Dummie. :)
To see a firmware update this early in the game shows that Fujifilm really believes in the HS10 and is trying to satisfy its customers. The appeal of an all-in-one “SLR like” camera has been evolving for some time now. Each new generation of advanced “bridge” cameras seem to keep getting better and better. Although, I will say…I wish all of the camera brains would get together and focus more on noise reduction versus cramming more megapixels into each new camera.
You’re going to love the HS10. I’ve been playing with it for a couple weeks now and it really is an excellent tool. Glad to see you stopped by!
