Sony NEX-3 Manual

Howdy friends! In this post you’ll find a couple quick links for the Sony NEX-3 handbook and instruction manual. The handbook gives you detailed instructions on the different features and shooting modes found on the NEX-3. The instruction manual gives you a basic outline for setting up and using the NEX-3.

You can download the official Sony NEX-3 instruction manual by clicking here (this PDF manual is provided by Sony).

    Hiya,

Dont suppose there’s a way of shooting square shots? I can edit once on the computer but it’s easier to take the shot in the right shape in the first place for me. I’m gonna assume this is a silly question and appologize in advance :)

I got the Sony NEX 3 for Christmas and I think the instruction manual and handbook got thrown away. Is there any way I can get these mailed to me. I don’t understand what this camera has to offer and need as much instruction as possible.

I appreciate anything you can do

    Sincerely,

    Susan Good

      Susan,

I would call Sony support in your area. They should be able to mail you printed instructions for no charge. If you get the run around, you could always try printing the PDF manual above. Happy shooting!

I recorded a video to upload to YouTube in VGA as recommended in shooting tips (IMAGE SIZE). inserted memory card into my sony laptop, went to youtube to browse for upload and didn’t see video, yet I can play it back on camera. what’s wrong?
Is VGA the right format for youtube?

      Yvonne,

VGA videos recorded on the NEX-3 are saved as MP4 files which are compatible with YouTube. You should be able to navigate your memory card to the folder where your videos are located. Have you tried transferring the videos to your laptop using the included PMB software?
