Howdy Nikon P100 owners! Looking for a downloadable or printable version of the Coolpix P100 manual? I posted a couple quick links to the P100 User Guide along with some download instructions. Here you go…
You can instantly download the official Nikon P100 user’s guide by clicking here (this PDF manual is provided by Nikon).
If you’d rather download the manual from Nikon’s website, just go to the Coolpix P100 resource page located here: www.nikonusa.com
- Once you’ve reached the P100 homepage, locate the ‘Related Links‘ section.
- Click on the link labeled ‘Product Manual‘.
- This will take you to their Support page where you can download a printable or non-printable version of the Coolpix P100 user’s guide. The printable version requires a serial number.
- The Nikon P100 PDF User’s Manual is around 12MB, so it may take a few minutes to download to your computer depending on your internet connection.
- Once you’ve downloaded the manual, Adobe Reader should open and display it automatically.
Those of you who don’t know what a PDF is, it’s basically a digital document that you can view instantly on your computer. Most computers come pre-installed with Adobe Reader which is a free software program used to display PDF documents. Just Google “Adobe Reader” to find the latest version available on Adobe’s website.

On Nikon P100 is it possible that it can take blur rounded Christmas lights? I’ve been testing it on my camera I think it might be possible, because I can see it when I focus, but it comes out clear. If you have any great tips on how Nikon P100 can take blur rounded Christmas lights, please reply.
Thanks
Try the Aperture Priority auto and set the aperture f/2.8.Go about 10 feet away from the light and try.If it is too dark u may use HIGH ISO.
Pls let me know how could I get Nikon Coolpix P100 printable user Manual
I am wondering on how we can make series of shots on this camera and save it? So far I tried multiple shots but not save all of it.
I have the p100 and have recorded some of son’s performances, the video is great, the problem I have is when I download to my computer or even just watch it from the memory card the sound and video do not match up, the audio is always faster then the video, what am i doing wrong.
Thanks
Hi Robert
There are two modes for recording HS and HD
Try using the HD mode for a good quality.
That should solve your issue.
Cheers,
Kishor
Is there any way to download pictures without using the Nikon software?
Nancy, if you have a mac iphoto can sync with the camera.
Where can i find the Best Shot Selector? I have a hard time taking great pictures of my baby as she keeps moving and wiggling…
Apparently a printable User Manual is only available to US buyers! only their serial numbers will allow you to download a printable version of the user guide – i think this stinks and would NOT have bought the camera if i had known it did not come with a printed manual!
I also live in Western Australia.
Best option i have now is to open the online manual and use something like SnagIt to copy a screen dump to a Word doc and print the important bits that way!! and NOT to recommend Nikon cameras to anyone….
I have also sent numerous complaints to Nikon, but not had any responce!
Stephan
Hey Stephan, I am in West Oz too and purchased this camera in December 2010, mine came with a printed manual. Just wondering where you got yours from?
I wanted a printable manual, so I tried to log onto the Nikon web site. They asked for the serial number, which I thought I found on the bottom of the camera, but they would not accept the number. There are no other numbers I can find. So where is the serial number please.
Regards

Darryl,
Should be located in a white box just under the lens, next to the tripod socket. If Nikon is accepting the number, give them a call…they should be able to send you one free of charge.

Hi, I am from Indonesia. I bought P100 a few months ago and unexpectedly I flopped it. I put it in a small bag with ‘protection cover made from plastic’. I checked and everything was ok. But now when I turn on the camera, the welcome screen is blur, n can only focus on certain range. What should I do?
Ria,
I would contact Nikon support in your area. You can find a list of phone numbers here. Best of luck!

Hi Moose!
I just got my P100 a few days ago and I cant seem to get a nice pic wherein you have the surrounding “blurry” but the center is focus, read the manual on aperture many times and now Im just frustrated that I wont get it right. Any help on this pls!
Shie,
The effect that you’re after is called shallow depth of field. A shallow depth of field, will put a very small area into focus. This is great for portraits or when you want to isolate a subject. Digital SLR’s are the best cameras for this technique, but you can try a few tricks with your P100.
By following the steps above, you’re creating a shallow depth of field which should help you get the effect you’re after.

Thanks moose for your help on the p100 memory question.
I just bought a nikon p100 have not recieved it yet, so i still have questions.
I wish some one would review this camera for us people who will probably never run a print from a picture taken. The pictures taken are destined for digital frames, mp3 players, tv and other digital media players.
The samples you show look good on my computer, is this what i should expect from picture that i take?
the sample pictures that you show for the p100 what was the biggest print that you were able to make that equalled the quality of the computer image?
what do you think?
Thanks again
Sam,
I agree…most people these days share photos via the web rather than display them in a frame. I printed a few of my P100 images and they turned out beautifully.

Where can I find the manual for the Nikon Coolpix P100 in Portuguese?
Eduardo,
Not sure…if it helps they have a Spanish version available here.
