I got this camera yesterday and it had many features that the sales person showed. However, the manual doesnt quote any of those. Like some options while adjusting the self timer..How do i get them?
Should be able to dwnload the manual using a PDF file, then print it off. I went to my local camera and video store and had a sales person download the file onto a cd for me for about $3.00, then printed it off at home. The manual is about 297pgs long. I took a ring binder and plastic sleeves, and made me a manual that way. Hope this helps!
hello, if someone need the manual in espanish, just email me, I have it, I can send it to you,

I am trying to find the correct filter size for the SX30IS…specs said 67mm but that is impossibly too large
Actually, if you get the proper Canon adaptor from 52mm to 67mm, then use the filter, it is not bad at all – I thought it was going to be too large, but it was good. Forcing on a 52mm filter destroys the threads on the lens and can jam the lens.
